Website may be up and down over next few months. I'm currently doing a complete overhaul of everything. Going back to simple individual .htm pages, new overall site theme, sanitizing and cleaning up html of all pages and blog posts, attempting to implement a new tooling and publishing system etc etc.

Title: Current Efforts
Written: July 3, 2004

  1. Started working on a tutorial series describing step by step the creation of a doom style engine.
  2. I have merged my DXEliminator and GameTools libraries into the DX9Tools library.
  3. A current list of projects I have on the go ...
    1. DX9Tools
    2. CommonCBX <- I actually rarly use or update this library
    3. Zider.NET <- a game engine still in the theory process
    4. Destiny <- Next generation of application development. Slow progress.
    5. EasyG <- 2D tile based extensible map maker.
    6. WamPosterCL <- complete and working but still in the final testing phase.
    7. Creating Maxscript scripts for exporting data as well as objects for reading the saved output.
    8. Some more rendered animations for the freedom project. Need more web storage space before I can upload more high quality videos.
    9. Template driven apps that inject html code into certain web pages on this site like the Development -> Code Snips page. Also supports FTP uploading.
    10. CBXDevHelpers addin for vs.net
    11. ShapeLib for drawing and manipulating shapes like visio (relates to the destiny project)
    12. V-Coder (Visual Coder) (relates to the destiny project)
    13. Research to update my programming knowledge and learn new things.
    14. As well as numerous others like ...
      1. mini apps for visually demonstrating things like Quad BSP trees, Physics etc
      2. simple how to examples
      3. Creating flow charts for projects to visualize what the project design will look like.

I barely have time to eat, sleep and crap! :P The list just goes on and on! Just not enough hours in the day. I think I should build a coffin and place it next to my chair so that when I croak, witch will obviously happen while on my computer, I can just make sure to roll over dead into the coffin ... mmm .. then again maybe not.
